I spend my working days as an IT manager for a internet company mostly dealing with orders of large enterprise IT solutions including purchasing high end printers.Hoping not to be bias in any way, I was on the lookout for a family printer for home use for an insatiable 5-year-old Bob the builder fan. As I had a much more expensive printer at the time, I anticipated that this would disappear to the depths of a bedroom and never be seen again.
However, when the box arrived the sheer compactness of the unit, its multi-function capabilities, its ease of use and great print quality meant that it is now my first choice, home-use peripheral unit. And the more expensive printer is now up with the kids.
Photo quality shots are pretty good on the right paper, it runs off more than enough copies in good time and even the noise is quite reasonable for a small home office.
Scanning has ample dpi... and realistic colour reproduction. Nothing more to say.
Copying, to be honest, is hardly used but once again colour reproduction is pretty good for most copying requirements.
And to really nail my colours to the wall, weve also got a couple for work for proofing and mock-ups - something which we normally reserve for its more expensive cousins.
All-in-all this is a little belter for the price. You wont be disappointed.
